Alderly was founded on a simple belief: children deserve clothes that feel as good as they look. Quiet, thoughtful, and beautifully made.

The name comes from the Alder — one of the oldest trees in the British landscape. It bends in the wind but never breaks. It protects what grows beneath it. For us, the perfect symbol of childhood.

Every piece starts with the question: would we dress our own child in this? That means 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, hand-stitched embroidery with woodland animals and nature motifs, cuts for free movement, and details that last — long after the last adventure.

We work with a small family atelier in northern Portugal — GOTS certified, ethically run. Each piece is only created when ordered. No overproduction, no waste, no compromise.
